Travel to Jackson Hole can be as straightforward or scenic as you want it to be. Several major carriers fly direct to Jackson Hole from 13 national hubs, including Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, New York, Newark, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. The newly renovated Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) deftly deals with the ever-changing conditions. Once landed, the resort is an easy 30 minute-drive from the airport by taxi, rental car or shuttle.
Flying in isn’t the only option. Over the river and through the woods routes remain. By car, you travel one of two mountain passes, Teton Pass or Togwotee Pass, or you can drive through the small towns of Star Valley, up through the dramatic Snake River canyon. Shuttles also ferry folks from nearby airports.
Once you are rooted in the valley, a public bus system allows for efficient and affordable travel to and from town and Teton Village. Rental car agencies abound as well, as do taxi services. Parking in Teton Village is ample—the free Stilson Lot only a shuttle-ride away to paid parking within feet of the Tram dock. Journeying to Jackson has never been easier.
From the airport, head southeast on E Airport Road toward US-191. Take your first right onto US-191. Drive for eight and a half miles until you reach the town of Jackson.
From the airport head southeast on E Airport Road toward US-191. Take your first right onto US-191, continue for nearly nine miles. Turn right onto WY-22 W/Teton Pass Highway. Continue for four miles, Turn right onto WY-390 N/Moose Wilson Road. Continue for six miles. Turn left toward Village Drive.
